What are the best and worst things about your company?
Global company means possibility of moving around and funds available for projects. Given responsibility from day-1, engaging job with lots of interaction with different groups of people. A good mix on hands on work, interpreting results and day-to-day admin tasks. Good training program based in multiple locations around the UK.Like all new jobs it can take time to learn the ropes and actually be able to add value.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
I was given a lot of responsibility from day one. This has provided me with lots of opportunities for professional development and gaining essential marketing skills. Good team atmosphere within the Health Care business unit. Flexible working hours and flex days. 3M has enrolled me onto the CIM Professional Diploma qualification within months of starting. This is another example of where the company has allowed for professional development. With being a global company, there are many opportunities for potential career moves. Being a large, global organisation, there can be elements of Red Tape sometimes.

Great atmosphere Friendly people In charge of your own career - Plenty of opportunities to swap to a new career path without leaving the company Flexible working hours - great emphasis on healthy work/life balance Lots of great social clubs to get involved in (e.g. 5 a side football) Global company based in USA so can be slow to implement changes.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The company is really supportive for training and wants to develop all the new graduates. I really enjoy daily troubleshooting work, it's probably what I enjoy most about the job.3M is a huge company but it is relatively unknown, having to explain to people who the company is can get quite old. Usually have to start with "Have you heard of Post-its?"
