Employer: Associated British Foods (Grocery)

Associated British Foods is one of the biggest Food Manufacturers in the UK; it is also a major international business with a turnover of £12.8bn and over 124,000 employees working in 48 countries.

The Grocery division of Associated British Foods comprises consumer-facing businesses that manufacture and market a variety of well-known brands both nationally and internationally. The businesses have developed an enviable portfolio of leading grocery brands that reflect the wonderful tastes of food from a diversity of cultures. Together these business areas play a central role in helping to feed millions of people around the world.

We recruit onto our graduate schemes across 7 different business areas that operate within the Grocery division and provide graduates that join us with experiences across the group. We only take a small number of graduates every year as we believe in giving you the visibility, responsibility and support to grow your career with us. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from day one, and plenty of support and development to accelerate your learning.

Our businesses are busy and demanding. On our programmes you will learn and develop essential functional and leadership skills. You will receive regular coaching and feedback from your line manager. In addition, you will benefit from structured core management and functional training, along with mentoring throughout the scheme.

Employers constantly tell us that there is nothing that impresses them more than a graduate who has properly researched the company and really knows why they want to work there - so make sure that you tell them in your application that you have read-up all about them on TheJobCrowd and so you really know what makes that company great and why they are right for you. It will help your application, we promise!
