What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be interested in technology and how it can improve business processes. Be aware of Accenture's work in certain areas such as fintechs and other start ups and where it is pioneering new approaches. Read up on case studies on the website and follow Accenture related news to see what their latest projects etc. are.
Be open and have other interests, Accenture likes well-travelled, open-minded candidates, so some experience abroad (working, studying, travelling) or a foreign language is quite common among colleagues here.
Don't be put off by the emphasis on technology as colleagues come from all disciplines and the vast majority of skills, if not all really, you pick up on the job.
