What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Some things you might not think of could be the thing that makes you stand out - for example, a lot of lawyers are Law or History grads, so numeracy can be a surprisingly strong selling point.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be honest and don't overprepare. Obviously you should research everything about the firm that you can and think about the obvious questions ('why law' etc), but totally scripted and rehearsed responses stick out. In addition, the interviewers are at least as interested in how you think as they are in what you know - to test this, they are going to need to take you outside your comfort zone, so don't worry when this happens.
