What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
This is not an application for PWC or a bank.. be yourself and write how you talk. It's great to have achievements but let them speak for themselves and use the process for the company to see who you really are.
Do you have any interview tips?
The obvious things are
- Know a lot about the company and why you want to work here specifically.
- Have answers for all advert related questions (e.g. what's the best one you've seen recently? what's your favourite one that we've done? what's your worst one? what's the best digital ad you've noticed? and WHY for all of them!)
- Why you are right for the job?
It's less competency based than other jobs and more about making you think on your feet. So be prepared to answer questions that you haven't actually prepared for and maybe analyse an ad that they give to you.
