What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Ensure that you have a passion for surveying and property in general as it can be quite demanding. Have good knowledge of surveying and what the typical duties a surveyor undertakes as this will put the candidate in good stead. Know the basics, such as building defects right through to contract admin - topics which should have been covered in University.
