What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Firstly, be prompt and presentable. One person who was going for the same job as me was due to have his interview the day before me and he showed up an hour late without informing anyone of his delay. The interviewers didn't interview him and he missed out (and I'm very pleased about that!)

Be talkative, confident, knowledgeable and be prepared. The interviewers aren't after the finished article - if you're applying for a graduate scheme you are far from that - but instead they are wanting someone who could be an asset to their team and someone who has potential. Sell yourself to your interviewers but make it clear that you want to learn and you want to work for the company.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be presentable as first impressions count. Eye contact, well fitted suit, clean shoes, smart haircut are all necessary. I'd say that 20% of the interview that I had referred to knowledge on property and what I had done at university. The remaining 80% was about me, my experience, what I had done and why I was sitting in front of them.
