Job Review
Sustainability Assistant, Sustainability at Change Agents UK
at Change Agents UK

What are the best and worst things about your job? Best:
Great line manager who gives me lots of freedom and independence in the way I work.

The training opportunities Change Agents offers for people on placements.
The university is stiff and hierarchical - makes it difficult to work innovatively.

That is not the fault of Change Agents though.
What is the annual salary for this role? Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000
Current salary: £15,000 - £17,000
What hours do you actually work, on average?
09:30 - 16:30
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role? Application Advice: Go for a full-time position if possible. Mission creep easily occurs, which makes handling all the different outreach and engagement tasks very difficult on just a part-time position.
Interview Advice: Do your homework about the programme/job/institution you are applying for
i.e. be informed about the university's current sustainability policy/initiatives/schemes, etc.

Be friendly and outgoing. Don't be shy and ask questions - shows that you've engaged with the position.
