What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
The application procedure is quite lengthy, starting with a question to answer and providing a CV, then a online test, a phone interview, an assessment centre and then a final interview with managers of the department you are applying to work within.
Although each part of the application is challenging in some way, I think it is important to do your research for the first stage of the application and make sure you give a good answer to the question to get you through the starting gate. I found that everyone made an effort to make the assessment centre as un-scary as possible so don't panic too much!
Do you have any interview tips?
Make sure you research the company and Lloyd's and really understand what your role entails. I think it is also important to remember that people employ people they like so try and relax and be yourself at the assessment centre, and ask for a moment to think if you're asked a question in an interview that you are not sure about.
