What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
I found the year I spent in Industry for my degree helped greatly with the application process. I would advise anyone applying for jobs in the chemical industry to try and get some experience, from summer placements to a full year in industry.
Do you have any interview tips?
The interview was a three day process. There were various assessments such as technical test, group exercises, verbal and numerical reasoning tests and one on one interviews. Although there were a lot of different aspects to the interview to fit in over three days, the assessors were very friendly, so I never felt under pressure.
There will be current graduates there at the assessment centre, I'd definitely recommend asking them any questions about their roles.
