Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000
What hours do you actually work, on average?
Start: 9:15
Finish: 17:30
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be inquisitive and interested in everything. You need to have a lot of self-motivation and not be afraid of putting yourself forwards. Be prepared to sacrifice some of your free time to get more involved but I promise it's worth it. They don't apply one type of person and value differential thinking so be yourself and own your own brand.
Do you have any interview tips?
Know what you think will be the next thing in advertising/media and have a genuine interest in the field. If you don't, you may become stuck on finding answers to questions. Note there is nothing you can specifically prepare in terms of content but it is worth getting friends, family or anyone in your extended network to help you practice interviews (the more you do the slicker you become). Finally just be authentic, open and adaptable to the situation you find yourself in.
