What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

With the application you need to ensure that you really put every good quality of yourself out there. In this case, all your computing achievements and qualifications and also anything else that involves core soft skills such as any team or club you were part of that exemplifies that you can thrive in an environment that requires co-operation to succeed. It's all about presenting every good part of yourself to really make the employer think that you are distinguishable from the rest.

Do you have any interview tips?

With the interviews, it is more important to show that you are a well-rounded person rather than just stating all of your computing achievements, after all if you are at the interview stage, they already likely know your knowledge and ability, the job requires a lot of verbal communication and teamwork to learn and improve and be actually able to do your job. Showing that you have drive and commitment is more important than just throwing computing achievements down as a work environment is entirely different to a classroom and theoretical one.
