What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £27,000 - £29,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 8:00

Finish: 16:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

You need to understand what makes the UK energy industry unique from other industries and what sets E.ON apart from its competitors. Energy is a highly politicised issue so you need to see through the spin.

As usual, you will be asked to complete psychometric tests and competency questions. Psychometric tests are something that you can practise beforehand. When doing competency questions, you need to keep in mind what skill the question is asking you to demonstrate.

Do you have any interview tips?

The assessment centre at E.ON was far friendlier and more relaxed than others I had attended. That said, the tasks are not meant to be easy. Don't assume that you are expected to come up with a perfect answer to a question - this may be impossible.
