Starting salary: £13,000 - £15,000
Current salary: £15,000 - £17,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
With having no previous IT background I was anxious at first that I would find it too difficult. Some advice I would give is that because you are an apprentice you aren't expected to know everything. You must be open minded to taking in a lot of new things and be prepared to learn. The company want to train you to their standards, so sometimes previous experience is not essential.
Do you have any interview tips?
There were a lot of questions relating to the apprenticeship scheme for example how you would adapt to change such as working in a professional office environment. The majority of the questions were relating to the role as an apprentice rather than being specifically IT related. It is important to come across as confident and try and ask questions to show enthusiasm.
