The best thing about my job is the opportunity itself. To be able to be where I am for my age, having not gone to University, is something I didn't think was actually possible. I am able to work alongside incredible Lawyers, who help me progress on a daily basis. Being able to learn about the Law whilst actually doing the work at the same time is an extremely efficient way to learn, and being able to do this has not only helped me kick-start my career, but increased my confidence immensely.

In HR you get to experience a massive range of areas that affect everyone in the firm. Handling confidential information also feels as if the firm trusts you and see you as responsible enough to take on this information. It also develops your problem solving skills and endurance towards fellow employees or situations that can be frustrating.

You are given large amounts of client work, but also receive plenty of support from your team and the firm to guide you through. I am part of a large group of apprentices in my age group, so you also have a great junior support network.

Best things about my job would have to be the variety of work I get on a daily basis. No day is the same and it makes my job very exciting and keeps me on my toes. I like as well the constant communication with external colleagues but also external clients, hotels etc. I think for me the best thing about my role is working for this firm and feeling proud to deliver a good quality service both externally and internally. It is also a great feeling being part of a team because you are never alone and there is always someone on hand to offer you support or guidance.
