What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

The main piece of advice I would give to candidates who are applying for roles within Hays is to be Inquisitive throughout the interview process.

What I mean by this is to ask relevant questions, essentially be nosey to find out more information.

This is a skill that all the best recruitment consultants have, and from now being a part of the Hays team, I know this is also a skill that is particularly looked for within the interview process.

However, make sure they are relevant questions and business related, as asking stupid questions for the sake of it will not have the desired effect.

Do you have any interview tips?

Dress to impress.

Managers and directors are always involved in the interview process with Hays and they want to find someone who they could take out on a meeting with a client that afternoon and not be shown up.

Remember, first impressions count.
