HSBC does not have a set concept of exactly what a candidate should be like. Each graduate has their own strengths, personalities and aspirations. It is therefore important during the interview and assessment centre to simply be yourself.
The interview and assessment centre does not focus on technical questions. Instead, there are various interviews, role plays and group exercises to assess various elements of how you are likely to perform if you were offered a place on the scheme. It is always hard to do, but the most important thing of all is to stay as calm as possible.
