Take a good look at the company culture beforehand. Some Recruitment companies will want you in a suit and others, jeans. So make sure you figure out what option is best suited.

Know why you want to work in Recruitment, and most specifically, why Instant Impact's type of recruitment. Making your CV as slick and refined as possible will really make you shine. Considering we can view hundreds of CVs a week they stand out when they are pointy and sharp. Keep them to a page long if possible. Everything should be ordered in reverse chronological order, with your education at the top.

Interview Advice:

Remain calm and collected. Be prepared and research the company thoroughly. If possible find out about the people interviewing you as asking questions about their history will make you stand out.

Open culture and flat hierarchy. Quickly implement new ideas that will help us improve and grow. Our new company values (energy, collaboration, initiative) are now emblazoned in big letters on a wall in the middle of the office - it's genuinely reflective of what we're like, and who we are.

Hiring new recruiters is challenging - you feel the pressure when there is too much work coming in from clients.
