Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make sure you participate during the group activity. Discuss and engage with your other applicants and demonstrate that you have the ability to work with everyone effectively.
Do you have any interview tips?
Relatively straightforward assessment centre. Consisted of a group activity in which applicants were split into two teams and given an objective. Important to discuss the solution thoroughly with your group and make an effort to include everyone in these discussions as there will likely be some candidates who are quieter than others. Next, and final stage was a one-to-one interview with an Engineering Manager and an HR Manager. Questions were mostly behavioural so following the STAR technique worked well, followed by one technical question that was very general relating to considerations to make when designing a system.
