Forget back office finance. This is about more than just crunching the numbers. As part of the European Finance Development Programme you’ll be integrated into the business, working as a business consultant, offering advice and making recommendations that will be highly valued.
What would I be doing?
The programme consists of three 12-month placements working in supply finance, consumer finance and financial control. Each placement is a real job with high-value responsibilities. You could be working at any of our sites and in any of our categories (Chocolate, Petcare, Food, Drinks or Gum & Confections). And you’ll spend one year working at our European hub. So you’ll get enormous business exposure and have invaluable opportunities to develop your skills, experience and management style.

We’ll support you to gain the prestigious CIMA qualification, give you the flexibility to choose your preferred learning method, provide generous study leave to help you prepare and pay all your fees. Throughout the programme you’ll have support from a Mentor – a senior manager - and buddy – a graduate who’s ‘been there and done that’ before. And when the time comes for your all-important international experience, our exceptional support package will provide everything you need to settle into your new environment.
Where will I be based?
You’ll need to be flexible about location because your UK placements could be at any of our local sites in Berkshire or Leicestershire, and you’ll also have one placement outside the UK at one of our European hubs.
