Application Advice:
Good work experience and interest on why you want to get in to the accountancy profession are essential to getting through the application process, however an accountancy degree is not essential as MHA look at graduates from a wide variety. Voluntary work also looks very good on your CV and it is very important to get involved and speak up at the assessment centre.
Interview Advice:
Be prepared to talk about your experience, why you picked your degree and why you want to get in to the accountancy profession. Show a clear understanding of what it takes to become qualified and show you have researched about the exams and what it takes to pass these etc. Also think about relevant questions to ask about the firm in your interview such as how can I progress?
