What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
While candidates need to have the necessary qualifications it is important to demonstrate a passion for something not necessarily within the law but that motivates and drives you. For example, if you have an interest in sport or something within the community.
Do you have any interview tips?
In the interview, I was asked situational questions and asked how I would respond to various ethical situations.
It is a good idea to have a good grasp on commercial awareness and how it applies to a legal situation.
You should have a good knowledge of the firm and how the different departments interact with each other.
