What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Should you want to apply for the scheme, and are successful; make the most of every opportunity offered to you. My council is constantly offering me opportunities to diversify my workload with areas of work that I am interested in. Although my time is taken up by the set out work of each placement, there is remaining capacity for me to involve myself in new and exciting areas in the department, and senior staff are keen for me to do this.
