Make sure you work on your analysis skills but also your communication skills. The job definitely consists of a lot of client presentations and it is important to be a good communicator and a positive person.

Interview Advice:

I was asked areas of myself that I would like to improve. It sounds like an easy question but it is extremely important to be self aware.

Be individual - actual people read your applications!
It may seem long winded, but it's worth it.
Show an interest in FMCG, at the very least know what it means
It's an analyst job, but also a client facing role. Think about how you'd work in that environment.

Interview Advice:

Presentation skills are very important - be friendly, enthusiastic, clear and simple.
Show an interest in detail and taking more from analysis than just numbers.
Dress Smart/Formal.
The loudest person is not always the best! Make time for other people to talk.
Be aware of what you're saying at all times, everything will be picked up on.
Be aware of your strengths, but also about what you could improve on.
Have some questions to ask.
Talk about your (relevant) previous experience.
Remember you're being hired as a person. Be nice and work well with other people.
Take food - it can be a long day!

We were given scenarios and various group tasks, one of which is that you have survived a plane crash and are given items that you have that you should rank in order of importance - one of the key things they are looking for is how you work as a team and interact with the others so don't worry so much about your answers! You also have to do a presentation based on a store task, make sure you have a strong and clear story for you presentation.
