Employer: nucleargraduates

nucleargraduates is not your run-of-the-mill graduates scheme. It is sponsored by Rolls-Royce, Sellafield, Magnox, DBD Limited, International Nuclear Services and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and it has strong industry support from over 20 stakeholder organisations. Our sponsors cover all corners of the nuclear industry from defence and new build through to power generation and decommissioning.

Throughout the two year programme you will work with your dedicated sponsor to gain experience across the industry that could see you taking up secondments in government, on-site, in the private sector supply chain or with the regulatory authority.

You will have full support of mentors taking you through to chartership with professional institutions such as the IMechE, IET, IoP and RSC.

10% of your time will be spent dedicated to the Footprints Programme – you’ll work with schools, community groups and businesses giving something back to the communities in which you’re based.

On top of that, there may be international secondment opportunities too!

Candidates must be keen learners who can influence people through their positive attitude and proactive nature. Mobility, adaptability and tenacity are critical for this role. We are looking for people to actively seek adventure and the challenge of moving into roles from the foot of Devon to the tip of Scotland via villages and cities in between.

Mostly we are looking for people who can achieve real results while showing humility as an individual and in a team environment.

This is a programme that will change your life, without limits. A commitment to working and living in different locations and communities is a state of mind, not just a requirement. Think! Are you prepared to experience work and life in diverse communities across the length and breadth of Britain from industrial centres in Derby to the “corridors of power” in London? This is a programme that sends you all around the country, and later, the world?

Now is the time to explore this exceptional opportunity…
