What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Make sure you read the questions on the application carefully, and always try to relate how the skills that you mention in the answers are beneficial to the company.

Do you have any interview tips?

The interview featured several activities:
One designed to see how you would react under pressure (they give you a task to do without enough time to complete it and see how you chose to use your time effectively).

A group activity, designed to see how you can work with the other candidates effectively. Try to make sure you have effective communication, and aren't too domineering.

An interview which is split with technical and soft skill questions:
- Review some of the theoretical basics before your interveiw, I was asked about induction motors, cable calculations etc. They look for a basic understanding of the general principles we will use in the office day to day, but nothing too technical.
- Remember to think about the activities you have done outside your course at university (Society involvement, volunteering etc) and think of how you can demonstrate how these have developed your soft skills.
