Eventually placing a candidate, getting the results that you wanted, it's not about the commission, it's about the person you placed and how it makes them feel once you have secured them the position. Application Advice:

Get in touch and have a chat, register your interest, discuss the role and get plenty of information on it. Have a clear CV that outlines your experience and skills relevant to recruitment.

Interview Advice:

Be on time, be well presented. Have an open mind, ask as many questions as you want, and have a positive attitude. Do some research on the company prior to the interview, look through the website and if you see anything you particularly like about it, keep that in mind as you may be asked about this.

Application Advice:

Make sure you know what you are getting into before you apply, some people may think recruitment is all fun and games. Yes we have this 'work hard, play hard' atmosphere and working at Pro is full of perks, but you will still be expected to perform to the highest of your abilities. We have had many people 'jump' into recruitment just for the sake of having a job and earning some money. Do not do this, ensure you know what is going to be expected of you and decide if this is something which is doable.

Interview Advice:

Scored against key competencies, looking at your ability to react in certain situations, asking scenario questions, what would you do in this situation? etc.

Application Advice:

Triple check your CV before sending for grammar and spelling mistakes. Make sure to include dates of education/work. If you have a video interview think carefully about your answers and demonstrate your skills but show your personality as well.

Interview Advice:

Be yourself, Pro is looking for people who fit in with their company culture and are ready and willing to learn as opposed to just the right person on paper. Demonstrate how you would be right for the role but let your personality shine through.

Best:

Great culture
High earning potential
Management flexibility

Worst:

Recruitment - people leave very suddenly! When they give their notice, they go the same day. Not much chance for byes.

Also, the incentives are really good - but quite a lot about going out for drinks, which isn't great if that's not your thing
