What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Apply early.
Spend a lot of time and effort on the application form. If you are applying to a lot of Graduate schemes ensure you go for quality over quantity.
Sell yourself and put yourself in the employers shoes.
Really research the company and ensure you know the in's and out's.
Be confident.
Do you have any interview tips?
I found the interviewers at RBS much more approachable than at some of the other companies I applied to. So be confident and come across as someone they would want to work with.
Be yourself and be honest. If you don't have a perfect answer just tell the truth.
Really research the company, both for the phone interview and face to face interview.
Learn facts/ quotes. Buy into the vision and talk about this.
