What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £13,000 - £15,000
Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Don't ignore the value of further education. I came to realise how important my education was only after I began at Spirax. This led me on to push harder for higher grades in my HNC, and subsequently HND.
Do you have any interview tips?
Just relax, and be yourself. It may be nerve-racking if it is one of your first interviews, but don't let that get the better of you! 9 times out of 10, a good interviewer will be able to see past the initial nerves that are inherent in interviewees, so make sure you prepare answers for generic questions (i.e "Greatest weakness?", or "Tell me about yourself."), and then just answer as well as you can to any curveball questions the interviewer may throw at you.
