What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Don't worry about the product area you want to work in; there are lots of opportunity to move around once you're inside Tesco. Focus on your skills and how they will make you into a great technologist. Being analytically minded, focused and innovative are key.

Do you have any interview tips?

My most difficult question was "When have you failed at something and how did you come back from it?".

I'd recommend being open and honest, but always focus on the positives; what you gained from the experience and why it's made you a better person, but be prepared for the follow up of "How do we know it won't happen again?".
