What are the best and worst things about your company?
Open culture, friendly working environment. Rotating around the business means you get to meet different people and do varied work as well as experiencing different classes of business. Rewards for passing professional qualification exams. You have to be prepared to settle into teams quickly and then move on as rotations are not always long so being flexible is vital.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The Graduate Scheme consists of eight rotations around the business which gives you exposure to the majority of the Underwriting Divisions. This allows you get to a feel of what area of the business may be suitable for you as oppose to other Graduate Schemes in the market which offer no flexibility. The ambition here is for all Graduate Trainees to eventually become Underwriters. This means that as a Graduate you will spend a lot of time making observations, completing mini projects and performing ad hoc tasks, you will not get the authority to conduct any substantial business until you are qualified and placed within a team.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The best aspect of the company for me are the people within it whilst the best aspect of my job is the rotational characteristic of the scheme as it facilitates exposure to those people.

What are the best and worst things about your company?
Incentive based learning and development scheme (ACII, ACCA fully paid for etc.) The company's good reputation within the Lloyds market and internationally. You get the opportunity to ask questions and learn. TMK has a high concentration of talented underwriters and support staff. Generally the company has a good culture and atmosphere. Some Senior Underwriters may not be pleasant in their approach all the time. (Essentially you're the junior member of staff, they think you should adopt to their way of doing things.)

What are the best and worst things about your company?
The wide range of rotations allows you to sample all areas of the business as well as meet people from diverse insurance backgrounds. Working and revising for the ACII qualification can be quite stressful but the company does give you a lot of study leave and support. The teams are also very understanding about your study needs as you rotate through them.
