What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research in depth the practice areas of the firm so that you can make an informed decision of which type of law you are interested in and might want to qualify into.
Have an open mind - you don't always know what you will and won't enjoy about the work until you are willing to try.
Do you have any interview tips?
Research one or two deals the firm has been involved in that you think are interesting and use them as reasons to explain why this firm, why this type of law etc.
Really practice on explaining your competencies well so that you can showcase your skills and experiences.
Always be prepared to explain your choices i.e. why are you interested in X type of law, why did you choose to apply now, why this firm and not magic circle etc.
