What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research the company, find what sector you want to be in - its not just MEP or structures, there's vertical transport, power systems, every engineering sector possible! Try and find someone from the company you can speak to in advance - linked in is a good place to start. Have good answers to the 'usual' questions you get asked in interviews. Make sure you know your strengths and weaknesses and future aspirations.
Make sure you are aware its design based. You dont go to site and fix things - there's a lot of reports involved in each project and you need to be able to think outside the box.

I came on through a placment so my interview was not the norm, but I was fully prepared in case it was.
