What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
If you want quick progression and are willing to work hard - apply. You don't have to be a petrol head either.
Have a 1/2 page CV based around experience. Work experience should be your key focus. Also make sure you highlight your key achievements and the things that will stand out. Don't worry about including everything, especially things that are going to be quite common across most applications - you want to include the things that stand out and get you noticed.

Volkswagen Group are looking for future leaders, people who have the right attitude, are proactive, and want to add value and drive change. Think about examples where you have been given a job to do, and you haven't just completed the task, you have gone over and above and made a difference. The industry is outdated in many ways and if you are creative and ambitious you couldn't be in a better place. They are trying to identify the right attitude. We are a people business, so it is important to be personable and someone they believe will be credible, believable and influential in the business. Think of leadership examples.
