What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Get some experience in an insurance related role or have something to illustrate your knowledge of the industry. Also be prepared to push for what you want as without being proactive about getting opportunities within the scheme you will not get as much from it.
Do you have any interview tips?
Get the pronunciation of 'Al-e-anz' correct as they will not hire you otherwise. Prepare general topics for competency questions and then tailor them to the question. This will ensure you don't have anything to say under pressure. They look out for people who can stand up for themselves under pressure and can put across their own ideas (in the role plays). Also brush up on general arithmetic for the maths test.
