The flexibility of the job, sometimes you can be out of the office carrying out surveys and inspections, other days you can be in the office. Also have the opportunity to work from home if necessary, and there is a wide range of support networks around you such as the Business Services department which, for example can complete schedules for reports etc.
Opportunity to work with high profile clients and the support network between colleagues and the departments. Feel like there's always someone to ask for help if needed.

Be commercially aware. Be open, friendly and presentable. Talk to lots of people at the assessment centre. It's not all about the academia on your CV/application. Put anything down that you think makes you stand out.

Interview Advice:

If you get past the general assessment days, the people interviewing you are more interested in how you as a person will fit in with the team, not how many GCSE's you got to an A grade. Be warm and genuine, and try your best to relax. If you're faking who you are in the interview they will see straight through you.

Lots of social events and opportunities to do charitable fund-raising/volunteering. Extremely open and friendly working environment - everyone is friends and enjoys eating lunch/going to the pub together after work.
