At any financial sector job there is a lot to learn and sometimes it seems support is lacking, don't panic.

Interview Advice:

There is an assessment day with three exams on English, Maths and Excel. There is also an interview which lasts 45 minutes to an hour.

Be open minded as there is so much opportunity but you have to be proactive about your work, and it's more you get out what you put in. If you are looking to pass the actuarial exams in an non traditional actuarial environment, this is great for you as you get insight into other areas such as project management.

Be yourself and know what you're talking about. They are just looking to see how you are and whether you are a good fit for the company.

It is beneficial to have good excel knowledge, but I don't think it is necessary. The main skill you need to work here is to have an excellent eye for detail, be computer literate and be able to communicate with each other.
