Application Advice:
Be open to opportunties and be clear of what you wish to obtain from the role. Do your research into the company and our initatives as this is what sets us aside from alternative graduate programmes, IT service providers and recruitment companies. We have a strong moral and ethical standpoint in additon to our business objectives and these are very much guiding principles across all departments.
Interview Advice:
Talk about where you wish to see yourself/ how you could contribute to the organisation. You initial role is that of an extended interview so allow yourself to be open to potential change and opportunities.
As an example, I would never have thought that I could enjoy and relish my role within a Sales capacity prior to learning more about my role and the organisation. No role change is a side step, more a learning opportunity.

Application Advice:
Do your research about what the company does! We have a very unique model and with just a little perusing of the website you can show true interest and initiative.
Interview Advice:
What do you know about FDM? What is an example of a time you had to go above and beyond to get the job done?

Best things about the company are the opportunity you have to enhance your skills and their global presence. This means you gather good international experience by working with teams globally at times.
Worst:
Employees are generally not listened to and their feelings sometimes are not considered (when we have had surveys with a certain outcome about how people feel about something, this is not addressed properly). It can feel sometimes you are not valued.

The best thing about working for FDM Group is the positive working environment- people are so supportive and are there to nurture your talent. As a fresh graduate this is the best environment to be in as I assimilate into my first full-time role after graduating. Also, there are always diversity and inclusion sessions to get everybody together and to ensure everybody's voice is heard.
Worst:
The worst thing is the work/life balance and the nature of the workload- at times it can feel heavy.
