Take time to research into the industry and decide if it is something you want to do. Recruitment is a great industry where you're always challenged and there are great rewards but it is tough, stressful and not for everyone. Make sure you are aware of the difficulties and comfortable with them before you commit to entering the industry.
Sell your best qualities as much as possible. People are often apprehensive to talk about themselves with fear of coming across arrogant but don't be afraid to let your personality and characteristics shine through. Recruitment is a sales role after all!
