What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
For the role I am in now, in my interview I was bubbly, open and honest. You won't make it in recruitment if you are too scared to pick up the phone or make good conversation. You have to have confidence in yourself. Let the interviewer know that you aren't afraid, you can hit the ground running and your motivated.
Do you have any interview tips?
I was asked the ulitmate question; 'Why recruitment?' - I answered this honestly, and stated that it wasn't something I had originally considered but having heard from family and friends that it was an exciting career path to take, I decided to go for it! I also had a number of fire questions asked, such as; Team player or individual? Small team or large team? Rate your previous manager out of 5? Future career prospects? etc etc.
Just be yourself, be bold and show you aren't afraid because recruitment can be pretty tough at times.
