What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The people. Every single day I am thankful to be surrounded by incredibly talented, driven minds who are as much fun in the pub as they are in the workplace. It's humbling and honouring to be a part of that. There's so much support in every aspect and from the top down and back up again, everyone tends to look out for one another.

Worst

Sometimes it can become repetitive and the volume of work is huge, it takes a lot of focus and resilience but the motivation comes just as much from the team and knowing you're all in it together. Likewise, with so much passion in the business, it can naturally sometimes feel like things aren't going fast enough for people's liking or we aren't changing enough but this is natural because people have quite high expectations of themselves and of the company.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Current salary: £27,000 - £29,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 09:00

Finish: 18:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

I really refined my CV to show relevant experience and give me/my interviewers a lot to talk about, include some fun things that make you an individual because culture is a huge thing here and it is a very 'human' company.

Do you have any interview tips?

Bare in mind it's usually two people from the company and yourself so take some time to research them, add them on LinkedIn etc. I would be honest, open and ask questions you are actually interested in knowing, rather than the same old, both about the individuals in the room and where the company is going. Let your passion show as this is a company full of really intelligent, hardworking and passionate people who will really easily tell if you're making it up as you go along. Don't be afraid to talk about your ideas, past and present and show how you've implemented those.
