What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £29,000 - £31,000
Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000
What hours do you actually work, on average?
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make sure to highlight any work experience that is relevant in any way to supply chain and the FMCG industry. You may have never worked in this area before, but any work experience that shows the skills needed to work in it (e.g. logic, problem solving, being able to work under pressure), is vital to not only mention but also highlight.
Do you have any interview tips?
Make sure you research on the company before the interview. You can talk all day about yourself, however if you don't know anything about the company then it does not make you stand out as a candidate. In particular for supply chain, research on the different types of supply chain roles they have (which is a lot!), and which ones you might be interested in. Also try and find out about the supply chain itself (e.g. how many and where are factories/distribution centres in UK and Europe). Something that is also always good to have a think about is how the supply chain and FMCG business could change in the future as technology develops.
