What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research the company and industry. Recruitment is a sales role and requires you to enjoy challenging target-driven work. Your first-year role will be operational (i.e. recruitment or sales) so you will need to demonstrate a desire to exceed targets in this environment.
Do you have any interview tips?
Do your research of Reed and make clear you understand that it is a commercial business with sales and profit targets. Your final interview will be with a senior director and they will want to see your career ambitions align with a career at Reed. At branch interviews (for your first placement) they will need to see you are action-orientated and driven by challenging targets. If it is a commission-based role then the managers will want to see some money-motivated comments from you.
