The role is challenging but in a manageable way. It's not overwhelming (not always at least).

Being in a competitive environment can have it's downsides, especially when you and the people around you are fishing from the same pond for different roles. I get the sense there will be times where you won't always be the most popular person in the room.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research operational roles such as Recruitment Consultant and Resourcer as your first-year placement will be within a role such as this and you'll need to sell your willingness/desire to work in these areas before going on to others.
Be patient and resilient; it's a very long process with a lot of hoops to jump through but the reward is worth it.
