Delivering business success through our people

We are looking for a talented individual, who is full of energy and enthusiasm, to join our friendly Boston team as a HR apprentice.

You will have an interest in all aspects of HR and be excited to develop into a HR professional. You will learn to carry out the key aspects of the HR and recruitment processes and develop a practical understanding of the employee lifecycle.

You will have (or have predicted) at least five GCSE’s (or equivalent) grade A-B including English, Mathematics and Business / Finance.  Excellent written and verbal skills are necessary to be successful in this role, along with high levels of accuracy. Proficient IT skills are also required, particularly with word and excel.

Some responsibilities in this role include:

  • Ensuring requests and enquiries are answered in a timely manner, highlighting or redirecting queries as appropriate
  • Filing information
  • Assisting the HR Advisor with weekly payroll
  • Making and receiving telephone calls on behalf of the Human Resources team, directing calls as appropriate, taking accurate messages and ensuring delivery to colleagues in a timely manner
  • Maintaining databases for HR, including updating from different sources, checking data, collating and supplying information as instructed
  • Maintaining electronic employee files / records
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality

This role would be perfect for anybody who wishes to pursue a successful career in HR but who doesn’t necessarily have any previous experience.
