Salary – £26,500 with a 5% increase every 6 months

Whether your interest lies in innovation, designing and constructing new water and water recycling treatment works, commercial assurance of our investment programmes to ensure we meet customer demands, or developing smarter ways of managing our existing networks or pipes, our Strategic Delivery & Commercial Assurance Management Programme has something to offer you.

What will you be doing?

Over a two-year period, you will undertake a number of placements within Strategic Delivery & Commercial Assurance including, but not limited to:

Delivery Portfolio Management

The Delivery Portfolio Management team will provide visibility of our asset investment plan, creating one version of the delivery truth and provide Programme Management to our asset Strategic Alliances.

Asset Intelligence

Asset Intelligence is the focal point for our asset data and insights, recognising the value of our virtual assets and providing intelligence into our asset management activities as well as giving confidence in our Asset Health Reporting.

Carbon Neutrality

The Carbon Neutral team through a Resource Efficiency Framework enables us to further progress on our Carbon Neutrality journey – using best in class leadership, insights, ambitious renewables and innovation to drive towards this outcome.

Innovation Engagement

The Innovation Engagement team drives open innovation and engagement to the world in our ambitions. Focusing on an innovative culture, brand enhancement and collaboration externally and acting as a stimulus into the business to promote different thinking.

Supply Chain and Logistics

The team creates a truly integrated supply chain that maximises benefit from visibility of demand and works with all the business to ensure ease of transaction both internally and externally.

Alliance Contract Management

The Alliance Contract Management team provides Client function support under Construction Design Management Regulations to all our Alliances and wider key supply chain. As the ultimate Project Manager under the Contract Management of key business frameworks, the team provides specialist commercial services to the business.

Commercial & Delivery Assurance

The Commercial and Delivery Assurance team provides assurance across our internal and external frameworks within the business, ensuring that our alliances are compliant, successful and driving value.

What do you need?

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Business, Finance or Engineering related discipline
  • A team player who can easily build strong working relationships
  • Passionate and driven to help shape the future of our industry
  • Demonstrate initiative and is proactive in suggesting new ideas
  • Flexibility to travel and re-locate between placements including a full UK driving license
