Understanding exactly what the questions are after is paramount. Take your time and plan your answers. Do not rush.

Phone Interview:
Research of current projects is key. Showing you know about the company is a great step to the assessment centre.
Assessment Centre:
Don't back down from taking a lead role in the group exercise. Be the time keeper as well.
Don't be scared to ask questions throughout, showing you want to learn more is a big positive.
Remember, it's not all about you selling yourself to them, if they like you, they will sell themselves to you. Asking questions in the one-to-one interview about what they do for graduates and how many graduates have achieved chartership with the company will really give you the edge.
Interact with everyone, don't shy away from conversation. Try and keep it away from work aspects. Getting to know current employees and the other graduates on a personal level shows great people skills.
