How would you describe your job in 2-3 lines?
To support the Local IM Delivery Managers in providing a primary delivery interface point between Information Management and Route, Territory, out based HQ functions and external customers.
What do you actually do on a day-to-day basis?
Specifically providing support in the delivery of minor works, small and medium IM infrastructure projects as specified by the business.
What are the main positives and negatives to your job?
Interaction with the business and the customer via telephone call or meeting, making a positive impact, providing a high quality service to my customers and changing the customers attitude from negative to positive.
What qualifications and skills are needed to be great at this job?
Degree: No subject or grade requirement.
Skills: Communication, politeness, just being helpful.
In what ways has the reality of your job differed from your prior expectations?
I didn't realise how much support was offered (this is not to be taken negatively it is positive).
What advice would you give to candidates applying for a similar role at this company
Always be polite, friendly and helpful. Do things to the best of your ability, but don't be afraid to ask for help cause it's always available. Be yourself as the scheme and role is tailored to your needs.
What hours do you actually work, on average? 8amto 6pm.
