How would you describe your job in 2-3 lines?
I support HRA's, HRM's and the service centre in co-ordinating projects for the HR community.
What do you actually do on a day-to-day basis?
I interact with a large number of people, often my manager, my team of 6 and other HRA's and HRM's. On a typical day I usually spend a majority of the day in meetings, and the rest of the day using excel, word, powerpoint and emails etc. to type up project documentation
What are the main positives and negatives to your job?
Positives are that I get to speak to lots of people on a daily basis, everyone is really supportive and helps me to learn and understand my job, there are lots of other graduates so the job is sociable
What qualifications and skills are needed to be great at this job?
Organisation skills, communication skills.
What advice would you give to candidates applying for a similar role at this company
The interview process was very chilled out, the interviewers were very friendly and make you feel at ease. You're not expected to know anything to do with the job, just expected to have the right attitude
