Starting salary: £21,000 - £23,000

Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 9:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Read up on brands and branding. Know about innovation, branding, strategy and insight - at least a few case studies. You've got to be interested by brands and be prepared to talk about them. Think about your favourite brands, how you interact with them, who's doing interesting things and disrupting the market.

It's good to be able to think analytically and creatively i.e. using left brain and right brain thinking. Be enthusiastic about brands.

If you don't enjoy the interviews or the assessment days, you probably won't enjoy the job.

Pre-prepared task involving creating and pitching a new brand. Be prepared to defend your idea against questions from experienced brand experts.

Some group tasks to assess teamwork, decision making, logical thinking.

Individual tasks assessing maths/analytical capability and creative capability.
